The Beginning

After the advent of Desk Top Publishing, Calligraphy as a profession seemed to be completely wiped out. But of late there seems be a renewed interest in calligraphy. When I searched on Google today , it returned a total of 10,400,000 results for the keyword "Calligraphy". Well! that doesn't mean that there as as many sites out there catering to this interest group. but It does give us an idea of the amount of people out there speaking about this subject.

I started calligraphy in late 80's. Well! I still remember that day when I saw a piece of paper, with my name written on it .... In OLD ENGLISH, using Indian Ink. It looked nothing less than print. I simply refused to expect that a human had written it, without the aid of any desktop, until I saw him (My calligraphy mentor to be), writing it again
